Certified New parent Educator
Laura Croney CNPE (she/her)
Laura is a mother, and a Certified New Parent Educator specializing in Infant & Postpartum Care.
In 2021 the birth of Laura's son not only impacted her life forever, it sparked a new appreciation for birth workers and educators. Arriving three weeks early, after a 12 hour labour and 4 days in the NICU, Laura's son Jack was ready to come home. Her first week of parenthood was overwhelming to say the least after living out of a suitcase in the hospital nursery, and although she still had a lot to learn, she was so thankful for all of the wonderful professionals who helped teach and prepare her, before, during and after her son's birth. This experience lead to an urge to pay it forward and do what she could to help other new parents.
Her experience with her own family, combined with her love of teaching, inspired a new passion...a newborn discovery... of the world of infant & postpartum education. Now after completing her CNPE training, Laura is thrilled to be able to offer classes that are engaging, helpful, and available right in the comfort of your home.
